What this blog is about/not about

I have finally gotten around to writing a little blurb for new readers about what this blog is about/not about. Feel free to read for yourselves in the tab above.

    1. Nope, I may be slow to respond and post, but I'm having fun sharing with everyone.

  2. I'm intrigued to read about your food experiences. I also think travel and food are most worth spending on.

And wow, you've learned/dabbled in a lot of languages!

    1. Yes, it's true that I've learned all these languages to varying degrees, but that doesn't mean I master any of them. I'm still working on learning my own native language and I don't think I could really truly master any language in my lifetime (I have incredibly high standards; well, I would seeing as I am a translator).

I'm thinking about making a post talking about shocking things I've eaten (but I don't want to put anyone off from reading my blog, haha).

  3. I am a huge fan of "about me" and "about this blog" page. It's like reading the back cover of a book :-)

I can't help thinking I am partially responsible for point 5! :-D I had the same fears about having a kid, i.e. giving up activities I care about such as reading, writing, etc. Well, as you know, it happened for a while but now I am trying to get my life back. Kids or no kids, it's completely up to you. I hate it when people ask me when I'm gonna have another one... gee, I don't even know if I want another one yet!

If we ever meet, we shall talk about food. And eat. Oh boy...

    1. Yes, I always look for these pages when I am deciding whether or not to read a new blog. So to save potential readers time, I have created this page. If somebody wants to read about Paris and make-up, all they have to do is open this page, see that I don't talk about these things and move on (or not!).

I would love to talk about food with you!

I never ask people if they are going to have a kid/another kid. I always say, "If you have children one day...".

    1. Thanks for the compliment! I made this section mostly for new readers, but I am happy to share more about myself with my regular readers as well.
